TECHNICAL OBJECTIVE

The Phase I project will study the technical and economic feasibility of developing a portable loading, rinsing, wash pad, and recycling system for pesticide and other chemical application equipment using the patented Octa-Aqua-Flex system. The specific research questions to be examined include:

  1. What modifications are necessary for the system to meet meet the needs of farmers, ground applicators and others handling chemicals in temporary locations?
  2. What are the market requirements for the system?
  3. Is it technically and economically feasible to develop a portable rinse pad and recycling system that meets the needs of most pesticide applicators?
